Five months in, we're incredibly proud of what this place has become.

From welcoming familiar faces each week to meeting so many new ones, it's been amazing to see
Distant Hills grow into the friendly, vibrant venue we always hoped it would be.

At the heart of everything we do is great food, great drinks, and bringing people together.

Our kitchen focuses on delicious, locally sourced food, with seasonal specials that change regularly, giving you something new to enjoy every time you visit.

Behind the bar, you'll find a carefully selected range of real ales that change weekly, great beer selection, premium spirits, wines, and expertly made cocktails. With over 15 years of hospitality experience, we're passionate about serving quality drinks with genuine, friendly service.

Creating a place where people feel welcome has always been our vision. Throughout the year you'll find live music, quiz nights, family events, comedy, themed evenings, and community gatherings designed to bring people together and create lasting memories.

Whether you're joining us for a quiet pint after work, Sunday lunch with the family, or a night of live music, there's always something happening.

Planning a celebration? Our upstairs event space accommodates up to 60 guests and is perfect for birthdays, baby showers, anniversaries, business meetings, and private parties. For larger occasions, exclusive hire of the whole venue is also available.
