About the event
Join us here at Distant Hills with Norris for a relaxed, design-led introduction to seasonal wreath making
Led by our Master Florist, this class is designed for flower and nature lovers alike - a chance to slow down, work with beautiful autumnal materials, and create a stunning wreath to celebrate the changing season.
You'll be guided through the process of creating a natural, seasonal wreath on a 10–12 inch mossed base, exploring colour, texture and movement while working with a carefully curated selection of foliage, grasses, seed heads, berries and dried botanicals. The focus is on thoughtful design, seasonal materials and creating something uniquely your own.
You'll receive plenty of individual guidance throughout the workshop. No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to get creative and enjoy the process.
All materials are included, from your wreath base and mechanics to the seasonal materials and finishing touches.
You'll leave with a beautiful autumn wreath ready to display on your front door or within your home, along with a deeper appreciation for the colours, textures and natural beauty of the season.

Join us for a night of steak, cuts and butchery as Pearson Butchers join us at Distant Hills for an evening all about beef!
Meet your butcher, discover where different cuts come from and enjoy a live butchery demonstration before our chef takes over to cook up a selection of the cuts you’ve just learned about! Each cut will be served with a specially paired wine to complement the flavours. 🥩🍷

PONY PATCH IS COMING TO DISTANT HILLS!
Saddle up and join us at Distant Hills for a fun-filled afternoon of ponies! 🤠🐴
Perfect for little ones aged 2–10 years, this is a great chance to enjoy a brand-new experience and make some special memories.
We'll start with a tasty kids lunch, before heading outside for a pony ride and some time to meet the ponies. There'll be plenty of opportunities for those all-important photos, plus some extra entertainment to keep the children happy all afternoon.
